IRA Certificate Accounts

Save for Retirement & Education Expenses

Some types of IRAs allow you to save without paying taxes on the funds until you begin to make withdrawals, while other IRAs offer tax-deferred earnings. ACU offers both IRA Share and IRA Certificate Accounts. Below are details for ACU IRA Certificate Accounts. 

Minimum Balance $500
Monthly Service Charge None
Terms Available Certificate: 3, 6, 12, 24, 36, 48 and 60 months
18-month Certificate Special 3.50% APY  - Limited Time Only 
Withdrawals Permitted according to the IRS regulations.
Withdrawal Penalty There is a loss of dividends for early withdrawal. Additional penalties may apply according to IRS regulations.
Closing Fee $25

Dividends are compounded and paid monthly based on the average daily balance. The dividend rate and APY may change every dividend period as determined by the Board of Directors.

Certificate Renewal You have 7 calendar days from the date of maturity to redeem or withdraw from your Share or IRA Certificate. Any unredeemed accounts will automatically rollover, for the same term and at the current rate, on the maturity date.

Statements Issued Quarterly by If you have a checking account or electronic transactions post to your prime shares, monthly statements are provided.
